OUR STORY

Lucy Westwood had been working as a mental health therapist when a family member was diagnosed with autism in 2016. At that moment, she realised how little support there in the therapy world for ND clients and how little knowledge was out there.

Lucy recognised the loneliness, confusion and lack of support that can accompany ND diagnosis. She also realised how mental health and ND was split in the medical world. Most of all, seh realised the lack of knowledgable support our there for individuals and families.

And so, the concept of My Tribe UK Ltd was borne - a 'one stop shop' for client's ND support needs.

Lucy wanted to bring together a network of ND specialists under one roof. Where clients can ask for help from people who understand ND. Where people can receive different types of support from the same organisation. Where all members of the family can receive help as needed.

Lucy joined forces with Lynne Morrow - a highly experienced Autism Champion / Mentor - and between them, they began building My Tribe UK.

My Tribe has now grown and includes a number of therapists and mentors, we hold support network groups and hold training and awareness sessions for organisations.
